Default Non turbo Kit, quick question

I was looking at this kit
http://www.suprastore.com/bolost2notot.html

1. Do i have to buy stage 1 first?
2. it says it has everything you need to turbo a stock mkiv, but is that true?
as in can i just bolt it on and thats it? (i would have the work professionally done)

thanks

Although I've never worked with that kit specifically, it does apear to be complete.

No you don't have to buy stage 1 first. "Stage 2" just refers to the horsepower level (i.e. turbocharger size and overall injector capability).

I'd suggest you call Suprastore and ask them about it, just to confirm. If you decide to purchase, when it arrives lay out the kit and be sure you understand how everything works and hooks together. If you take this step, you (or you and your installer) should be able to identify any missing parts.

Lastly note that kit specifies ""approximately"" 525hp, which is "approximately" 445rwhp through a 5spd, and "approximately" 395rwhp through an auto. This kit does not suggest it would be possible to push even one more horsepower than that at even at max boost (even if you change the turbo someday). If you wish to change to a bigger turbo someday, it may require other supporting modifications including a thicker headgasket and different injectors...and that's only if the other turbo you want to use fits at all. Also note you may need to run race fuel to support even those numbers.

NB: Please consider posting any help requests in a new thread instead of asking me for help privately. About 99.9+% of the time, private help requests end up covering great information that could be very valuable to other forum members. If you have a good reason for needing the help request to be private, I'll consider it. If not, then why not give everyone else the opportunity to pitch in too, and/or learn from the information? Remember, there's no such thing as a dumb question. We're all here to help within this family of Supra owners.
