Default Who would you have build your engine?

I'm looking to take my 2jz out and have it built....just wondering if you guys want to post your OPINION on whos the best and your OPINION on whos the most cost effective.

I'm NOT building this for crazy HP like some supras are. i want to build this car for road racing so i don't think i'll need a lot. But even if i set up my engine for 600 HP..it will still be nice to know that even though maybe a little "overdone?" my engine will last for many many races. It's also nice to know that if i wanted to i could up the boost and do a drag run here and there too. Anyway...what do you guys think?

Who would you send it off to and do you know how much?

Cougar

PS I was thinking boring it out, rods, pistions, sleeves....the works pretty much.

A bone-stock 2jz-gte is already overdone for 600hp. You won't have any trouble running an 'unbuilt' 2jz-gte for many many many many races as long as you always run enough octane to match your boost level.

NB: Please consider posting any help requests in a new thread instead of asking me for help privately. About 99.9+% of the time, private help requests end up covering great information that could be very valuable to other forum members. If you have a good reason for needing the help request to be private, I'll consider it. If not, then why not give everyone else the opportunity to pitch in too, and/or learn from the information? Remember, there's no such thing as a dumb question. We're all here to help within this family of Supra owners.
