As you may know, this engine never came from Toyota in the jza80 (Mkiv Supra chassis). As a result, you're likely to encounter differences in the motor mounts and the oil pan (at the very least). Worst case you'll also have problems associated with putting an engine from a RHD car in a LHD, such as interference between the intake manifold and steering column.

In addition the 1jz-gte turbos are parallel (not sequential like the 2jz-gte), so you'll have to run them in your Mkiv as you would a single turbo.

You'll also run into all of the standard n/a->turbo conversion issues such as fueling, ignition, etc. Which ecu were you planning to use with the swap?

I don't know hp&tq for the 1jz-gte offhand but I'd guess 320*(2.5/3)=266.7hp at oem boost levels.

Imho this is a questionable idea at best, but if you do decide to proceed please take notes and lots of pics to post here!

Since the engine is turbocharged, horsepower depends on boost level. You could probably call a 1jz-gte a 350hp 2.5l tt and still be accurate, technically speaking.

Since the displacement is about 17% less than a 2jz-gte, you can expect about 17% less horsepower at the same boost level.
