Are the engines in the mk3 and the mk4 the same? Are there any differences?

mk3 generally have a 7mge (n/a 3.0L I-6 200hp) or a 7mgte (single turbo 3.0L I-6 230hp) and I believe some had a 1jz (2.5L twin turbo I-6 ??hp )

mk4 turbos are 2jz engines (3.0L twin turbo 320hp)
