Well the oil coming from that area is not ideal, but it is relatively common and could be considered 'normal' of a sort. The oil is probably coming from your PCV system (and should be fixed by the catch-can you've installed). There's also a small chance it could be coming from leaky turbo seal(s)...

Why aren't you running a 'recirc' fitting?

I believe so, but if you could post another shot from a 'front' angle so we can better-see the hookup on the valve/cam cover I should be able to confirm it.
