I live in Okinawa Japan and i have a JZA80 2JZ-GE engine w/ a 5 speed. I found an 91 Aristo(Lexus GS 300) w/ the 2JZ-GTE w/ an auto. The Auto tranny is busted so i wanted to put the GTE engine into the supra w/ the 5 speed. My question is will the 5 speed tranny bolt up and what other problems will I run into w/ the swap. Any input will help.
Thanks

yep the 5 speed should bolt up... i believe the oil pan (sump) on the aristo is different tho... can't remember exactly, i'll find the info later for that
other than a bit of rewiring in the dash for tacho inputs etc you should be able to put gte harness & engine in and be good to go

in theory
lol

it's 2.20am so forgive me if i forgot something :P

Wiring harness doesnt match up, i have a 94 Aristo engine, and it needs to be tworn down to us-spec...or in your case, J-spec, cause the fuse box in the engine bay doesnt connect to the harness at all.....
