you basically have to take that part of the intake off, i haven't looked under a mk4 supra, i have a mk3, and i have to take off from the upper intake plenum to the air box, it also helps if you get a haynes manual, its a big life saver!!!!!!!

HAHA, good question. I just recently replaced the sparkplugs, added new ignition wires, and had to put on a new valve cover gasket.
Yeah, its a pain. whoever designed the NA supra engine bay layout was nuts! If you want to replace sparkplugs you have to take off the intake manifold, which now makes the small 10 min job of spark pulg replacement an hour and a half. Its pretty tricky. Just search the net for diagrams if you really want to try it yourself. I suggest goin to a shop that know what they are doin. Good luck |

DAmn take it easy on the guy/gal....you might choose to leave out the lazy moron bit... I would hope forums are available for learning...what's the difference between asking on a forum from people who have DONE IT from getting a book and reading it and "guessing" at certain things... Unreal, I'm a member of a ton of forums and I'm an avid car fan and understand flaming, but that was unnecessary...maybe it is someone who isn't mechanically inclined and really wants help.. He asked nicely and said thank you, chill out take 20mg diazepam, and a mergan fortis and relax.... |
