Default Ac Go Bye Bye!

Hi on my mkiv tt the AC dont work i removed the radio Panel and took out the AC Controll panel and all of a sudden after pluging the 2 orange wires back in all i see are the lights i press buttons nothing works on it im not sure what happend can anyone tell me if i poped a fuse or something if i did pop a fuse from where and how can i change it? thanks

Are you sure your orange connectors are plugged back in properly? Also note that it's possible that the solder joints on your a/c control panel got cracked if you bent the panel while removing it. If you have the TSRM, I believe there is a troubleshooting section for your a/c system...you should be able to simply follow the troubleshooting steps listed to diagnose the problem. Default It Works!

Thanks i fixed the problem! you were right the 3 orange wires that go to the ABS.. 1 of them was lose i pluged it in and works great! and do you know where they sell replacment lights for the AC panel the ones that you turn and pull out the little green ones?

Most likely your lights aren't burned out...it's cracked solder joints. Just re-flow the solder with a soldering gun and they'll work again.
