Where to mount BOV
I just bought a Greddy type-s bov for my 94 TT supra. Problem is I can't figure out where to mount the damn thing. It won't fit where the stock one was anyone have any ideas?

If you get creative with 3/4" copper tubing, copper elbows, and 3/4" heater hose, you can even implement full recirculation. Of course, you'll probably want to spray paint the copper tubing with flat black paint to make it look somewhat oem. Alternatively, if you get an HKS hardpipe kit, you can get a GReddy bov flange welded to any of the hardpipes... |
Ya I've got the kit but where I need to know what to bolt it up to.

A bit more info on the oem bov/'Air Bypass Valve' can be found here: http://www.mkiv.com/manual/manualtt/...ection/ti2.jpg ...this diagram shows which side is the input and which side is the output/recirculation. More info here as well: http://www.mkiv.com/specifications/ncf/ncf93/ncf092.jpg |
It should have come with a mounting plate that you can use to mount the bov. I used a pre existing hole in the engine bay towards the rear of the shock tower. Hope this helps, if your talking about bolting the bov somewhere.
