Whats that Button for???

Our new Supra does not have an owners manual.

Can someone tell me or point me to the FAQ thread which tells me what the red switch on the right hand side of the steering wheel is?

Many thanks.

What year is your Supra? ...also is it normally aspirated or turbo?

Sorry just read your previous post, it seems you have a 1995 black Supra 3.0l and not a MKIII. I think they fitted a passenger injector seat red button on the MK IV.

Probably why he posted in the MKIV forum... ;) j/k lol

Deepee, is this information correct? ...if so, is your Supra an n/a or a tt? Also, is it rhd, or lhd?

Hmmm...what would the button inject into the passenger seat? Air...like for lumbar support? I'm not aware of any such feature on the MKIV (although I guess it would be kind of cool...especially if it was available on the driver's side as well).

Fwiw, I just checked my US-spec (lhd) '94 TT, and the only two switches on the right side of the steering wheel are for cruise control, and the windshield washer fluid. Neither of them are red. *shrug*

Deepee, could you post a picture of the button you're talking about? Tia...

Oh, and 00400-14514 is the Toyota part number for the owner's manual for your Supra. Curt Aigner or Jeff Watson should be able to get it for you.

Hope its not a hardtop, or that fellow you try to eject will be spattered all inside your car.

O let me put my 2 cents in im asuming you bought the car used lol seeing as how they dont make them anymore, any it is a sports car maybe they were going to put nos in the car and use that as the button (red like most poeple do) but if this is the case then its just he button there shouldnt be anything hooked up to it
