MK3 spare wheel fits TT MK4 car? (can a TT take a 16X7 rim)

I'm sorry I honestly don't know the answer to that offhand, and unfortunately I don't know of anyone that has tried it. I will ask some friends, and let you know if I find out the answer.

If you don't mind, I'm curious: why are you asking?
