Turbo Add On?

Allright, so I bought a N/A cause it was all that I could afford at the time. Now I want to go faster. I got a quote RRev Motorsports for a single turbo kit that was in the 6-7k range. (Inc parts, labor, tuning)

I am wondering if I would be better off buying a new supra with a stock turbo, or since I am planning on keeping the car forever if it would be a (kinda) smart way to spend the money on upgrading what I have. Thoughts? Am I gunna go fast enough with the 7k invested to make me glad I did it?

Thanks

In general, you'd be much better off buying an Mkiv TT. Have you already read my posts in these other threads?

Thanks for the imput Phil. In all reality I cant actually buy another Supra anyway. It just isnt really a practical option for me.

So that being said, my Supra has 90K on it, and still runs great. Would you consider spending the 7k on the kit/labor a waste or bad idea?

Now if I came across a 98 twin in royal saphire blue, that was close to me, that would be a different story. But they are just hard to find in the Pacific NW, and Im partial to the one I have now, since I already have some wrench time in, not to mention wheels, tires and exhaust.

Thoughts?

Thanks

Not at all.

Sure. I'd suggest giving BoostLogic a chance at your business:

Who makes the kit that RRev Motorsports was going to install & tune for you?

The kit that they are reccommending is from Extreme Turbo Systems (Stage 2). They used to reccommemend a kit from Horsepower freaks. They would use whatever kit I wanted so that is a plus.

Thanks
