New Supra owner! Have a few Qs?
I recently purchased a 94 NA supra with manual transmission and I'm totally new to the Toyota scene so have a few questions about my car that I hope you guys can help me answer.
1. Where can I find black oem seats in black for my car? 2. What are some of the known problems with this model supra? 3. Where's the best place online to find oem interior parts for cheap? 4. Which company is better for my na-t conversion? Boostlogic or Turbonetic? 5. Are there any built NA supras on this forum or any other forums? I know these are all noob questions but I was hoping you experts can lead me in the right direction. Thanks in advance. |

hitting ya Up
Turbo nectics has had pretty good reviews, and they feature the new hybrid turbo’s
The hybrid consists of a T3 turbine and a T4 compressor. The lighter turbine of the T3 spools up quickly to lessen turbo lag while the bigger T4 compressor packs in more air. The ceramic bearings spool faster and last longer, too. Boost logic offers more specific supra combo’s and also has good reviews, I’m not to certain on the turbo’s they offer in the package as, some packages vary in housings and sizes of turbo’s also Power. So ill refer to these two turbo kits I found on this supra site. Boost logic - http://www.suprastore.com/bolost1notot.html ( includes pic’s of supras that have it ) Turbonectics - http://www.suprastore.com/sinturconkit.html A few things is noticeable between both, is the PSI level one is 7 while the other is 8. So I guess less stress on your car parts while still producing the same gains some how. Also the price, a few hundred bucks which to me is something to look at as both companies have a good reputation. Also one mentions you can continue to upgrade it up to 500Hp, if your looking a system that can take you that high that can be your best option for the price. another site reviews three turbo’s ( this is an advertiser’s point of view) he kinda stomps on Turbonectics. I guess in the end it would be Really up to you, If you find a place that sells one For A even better deal then I found, and what type of performance you want. I’d go with the boost logic. These links are the most popular to have supplies or OEM (Original equipment manufacturer) some of them may tie in them self I think they share a search engine. http://www.overnightautoparts.com/ http://www.autopartswarehouse.com/ As for the seats I had a Hard time finding any online, even when I Googled. I found one guy on E-bay selling them though. Things like seats are Hard to find at times. Known problems with this year supra, is around on the Forums just look around you might even Find other info that can answer question you may Not even be thinking about. I know it seems like a lot but I recently got on this site myself and it seems like a lot of info to look through but no doubt it’s not, it’s all very well organized. Im pretty sure though only real thing was a rattling noise on the hatch pre 96. “Noob Questions” lol, if you don’t know, look around or ask, other wise you will never learn. been here for a month made a few post asked questions a lot and I don’t think anyone referred to me as a Noob. I mainly look around before I ask cause sometimes others may have had the same question so the answers are around. Good people here on the forums so feel free, to ask... we won't bite. anyways i hope this Helps and congratualtions on buying your supra!!
