i anm about to buy my first car and want to get a supra. i like the body styling of the 85 and 86 but i am still not sure exactly which one to buy. i have been looking at an 86 for sale but aparently burns a lot of oil, so i am not sure if i want to buy it because i think it will need a new engine. i appreciate all feedback.

the 86 is a great starter if you can find one. i mean a true 86, not an 86.5. they're lighter than the 86.5 and have all the fender flares and rear deck wing. yes, as tested, the wing DOES work. parts are starting to dissapear, but quite a few are interchangeable.
