How much do you have to spend on a car?
How much do you have to spend on maintenance / repairs / gas / insurance each month? Supras are much more expensive to daily drive than most cars are, also you probably won't be satisfied with a n/a auto, I least I'm not. And making them faster is also expensive and time consuming, so doing that to your only vehicle can be very difficult. I don't know who or what the rentals are, but good luck with them/it..... Ray.

like sumbody already mentioned b4
supras are lifestyle cars, although not all of them, but most of them will need tedious maintenance, especially the first time you get the car trying to get it in perfect running condition, will be a pretty good challenge, and can be time consuming, and it can consume you wallet too but most of us already know this, and are willing to go thru the paces to enjoy the benefits, of seeing, feeling, and driving what our hard work, equals to

hey
hey i know u wanna supra. who doesn't? but from other people's experiences, it's probably not an ideal and cost-efective first car ey. I know you prob won't wanna listen to me, but if you hold off a couple of years you'll appreciate it more.
If you get one now, your freshly licensed, inexperienced and probably dont have loads of cash around. IT'L drain your wallet from costs of keeping it, and probably a few speeding fines and mayB loss of licence. I know all this is negative, but its true. But if i were you I'd wait a couple of years and buy one (also prob a few years younger and easier to keep maintained). anyway good luk. |

celica's...
are alright. but supra's are definitely better. CRX alright. hmmm if i were you, 'd prob just go for a low-profile first car. i got a underpowered 4cyl non-turbo lancer. stock as. cheap. so more money for next car. and it goes a bit fast.
reached 185 km/h. bout 115 mph. not too bad, just took a while to get to that . and i like playing around in it, if i had a fast first car i prob wuld have fuked it up / crashed it. i near;y crashed m lancer the other day, while doing a handbrakey corner lol. anyway, my plan is to save up for another 18 months, and buy a 1998 fairly stock TT supra and get that to about 550hp. and lower it and put a body kit and few other little bits on it... |
