'91 Supra top speed?
What top-speed is a non-modified 1991 Supra Type R, 1JZ GTE twin-turbo I6 capable of? I can't find a factory-advertised top-speed anywhere!

There is a great write up on the Toyota Supra at wikipedia.org:
Toyota Supra - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia It is provides a great history and some technical detail. It mentions the 7M-GTE MA71's (turbo) have a top speed of 156mph, but that is the only reference I saw related to speed. Not sure about non-turbo. Maybe someone has some real life experience above 100mph which is about as high as I cared to push my 88 stock N/A .

Top speed is relative to RPMs (redline) and your Differential's gear ratio. And tire diameter, of course.
I've gone 150mph several times with my '89 N/A (some mods of course. But the turbo cars may not go much higher, they will just get you up there quicker.
