wheres the respect?

i am new to the forum and i see u have supras 82 on up. seems to me ya'll should have more respect for the 79-81 generation (mkI). that was my first car 81 supra. i beat the shit out of that car and it never died. the vbelt broke in it and was overheated like a bitch but still started up and drive it for a couple more years. since i live in michigan it rusted like hell and wasn't worth saving but i found and 81 celica gt with the same back half. i saved all the parts and ended up drive the old supra to the junkyard. i'll miss that old car, i burned off alot of tires, and had a ton of fun in that car. that car is what sold me on toyotas. now i have my celica with a 22r with 113,000 miles on it. same engine as the trucks. so its good for 300,000 + miles. not to mention u can build that 22r up to 450HP. thats my goal. i wanna beat a 5.0 mustang with half the engine doin twice the work.
