And i would have to disagree with the comment the vette is better in every other way, i'm sure the supra can handle just as good if not better through turns , considering we had one of the best companies build our suspension system (LOTUS). Plus The supra is cheaper, and my opinion, because its prejudice and the supra is my favorite, there is nothing better then a supra to me. There are a lot of nice cars out there, but nothing that when i look at it makes my pants bulge. :P

Chevy says the 2006 Z06 will accelerate from zero to 60 mph in well under 4 seconds, run the quarter-mile in the mid-11-second range and top out at 190 mph. Can your Supra do that? Just a reminder, I do love Supras

My point was, you will have to spend lots of money to get the same handling as a STOCK Z06. Does anyone here have a MK3 that can hang with a new Z06? Most likely not... Basically KingDiamond, on a roadcourse you would get smoked by any C5 or C6 vette.

Most MKIIIs will get owned buy a corvett form like 95-00+. You would have to have some serriuos mods dont to keep up. A MKIII stock put down around 170 to 190 if your motor is in good shape. A corvett put down almost 300. You do the math.

and btw when someone has a 20 yr car taking risks are not nearly as risky compared to someone with a brand new car . ergo: candy asses
