Raising Idle
:help:How do i raise the idle on my car
it dies only when idle or nuetral the bar goes under 0 shouldnt it be halfway to 1? |
Idle should be 750-900 rpm. You can adjust it with a little screw thats on your throttle body, under a little black rubber cap. Pull the cap off and use a flatblade and unscrew the little screw a little bit. Make sure your timing is right and your ISC valve is clean also.

Thanks
Will check it out a.s.a.p.
thanks for the detail considering this is my first vehicle and im clueless lol learning as i go well ill get back to you to see if im succesfull. :x: |
I would definitely check your diagnostic codes first and if nothing there then check your timing to ensure it is correct before changing any screws :)
