New guy from Northern Kentucky
Figured I'd say hello before I ask any questions. My name is Steve and I live in Newport, Ky. I'm the president of the Scroungers Car club and all around gearhead. The Club is a traditional hot rod club but I'm into anything that has wheels. I just brought home a 1988 Supra. I'm sure I will get some grief about it from some of you guys but I can handle it. The car is like a road rocket and hooks up very well. Under the hood is a 4 cam 4.6 motor from a new Mustang with the overdrive trans. The car is pretty fast but I haven't ran it yet to see what it will run. The Vice President of our club pulled his souped up 70 Monte out of the garage to put the Supra in it's place because he had been out running all the street cars around here. The Monte got passed by two cars and he hit the NOS to to run him down. He ended up blowing the motor in the Monte trying to catch it. It took me about a week but I ended up with the Supra. I know the engine part will not be addressed on here but I was hoping for some suspension upgrade and tech info on the rest of the car.
