Hi all,
My name is ICECUBE and I life in Holland. I have a Toyota Supra M7GTE from 1991 and I love that car. But I have a problem. Yesterday I was driving with my car through town and it stoped working. According to the mecanic the motor is dead. When i want to repair it, its a very expensive thing, so now my question, does anyone has a (spare) engine for me, so I can excange the engine. I am looking for a engine with less Kilimeter (miles) than mine. Mine has 210.000. Please email me details to Pinkpopd@hotmail.com Thnx, ICE CUBEŽ |

You might consider ordering a JDM 7mgte, they're pretty nice.

Yeah that would probably be the way to go, you'll get a low mileage engine, at probably a lot less then what it would cost for you to repair the one you currently own. You can do a search on the internet for jdm engines, and find multiple companies so you can get different price quotes. Don't always go with the cheapest remember to look at what kind of waranttee they will give you with the engine before choosing a company.

Wow, what do you think it would cost to ship an engine to holland? I'd have it rebuilt myself(as long as the block was ok) Back in the day my engine took a dump on me, I got one of those $1800 Engines from Japan with 40K miles, The first one they put in had a bad head gasket, the second of went three weeks then I blew it up... the 3rd lasted 6 months, but didnt sound like it was in that great of shape. I will never buy another, or if I do, it'll be rebuilt before I put it in. Strange how a $5500 car is all of a sudden a $12000 car.

Btw, I had to pay the labor on the install twice, the engine company picked up the third. I took it in the rear, at least they got one of em. No problem getting another engine with the warrenty. I still think you should pull the pan, and the head before you install.

If your motor died on you and your looking for a new motor, I would say go with a 1jz swap. The motor is much stronger and does not have the head gasket issues that the 7mg has. This swap is only pratical if u have any 89-92 chasse. Other wise the motor mounts won't work. Good luck/
