Tranny ? Need Info!
I know an n/a tranny wont hold the power of a turbo 7mgte. I plan on swapping a 7mgte into my 86.5 mkIII, and know i need to upgrade the tranny. I could go out and spend the money on a turbo tranny but i already have a very nice tranny from a different car. I have a Tremec TKO 500 5speed and i need to know if it is compatible with a 7m motor. Ive seen these have been mostly used on V8's and know they can hold upto 500 hp or somewhere in that range. If anyone can help me on this one i would appreciate it and yes i have been searching for it but havent ran across it yet. Any info would help thanks.
