hey, my supra runs REALLY hot.
my temp gauge is always in the middle, but when im driving in maybe 25celcius weather - and the windows down, its noticeably warm around my legs and firewall. i DO have an exhaust leak at the manifold that is probably contributing to the heat. but. are all supras this hot? feels like im sitting in soup! |

That’s strange, I had the same problem with my first Supra 1986.5 N/A but mine was a right hand drive. I tried everything, even cutting air vents in the bonnet, fitting a small 12v fan pointing towards the down pipe and fitting a heat shield to the down pipe. Slight improvement but nothing drastic, the footrest would become very hot on 80 mile drive. I ended up wearing thick platform shoes; OK they were in fashion at the time. Is yours right or left hand drive.?
