Hello,,can anyone help me....I have a 1985 Toyota Supra, which I have had for about 10 years.....just recently, the fuse for the gauges keeps popping....which means the gauges do not work....or the heater fan or the car will not shift into 3rd gear.....a bunch of stuff will not work.....would anyone one know if there is an area to begin to check for problems......I really know very little abour car electronics,,,, But I was wondering if anyone had this problem in the past and could shed some light on the topic.....REALLY could use some help...thanks all.....

have you seen any signs of dampness around the fuse box?

no dampness anywhere at all.........dry as a bone.......I have no Idea what would cause this.......AAHHHHH....

hi
unless any one can say yes this or that part causes exactly your prob then ;all you can do is eliminate poss causes ie switch off fans ,unplug circuits untill fuse does not blow when fitted . Be sure not to up your fuse ratings.Not with the chance of a short . Post your model +type + ill see if a wiring diag can pick up any help. ps find all systems down with fuse out .Even unlikely ones. |
