Now I am puzzled!!
I figured out my vacuum issues and timing issues are in the works of being resolved. My new problem. After getting the the 87' 7-MGTE to fire this morning, the car died after running for a minute do to improper timing. She was smokn at the turbo and off the exhaust manifold out the tailpipe< Is this timing I ask??> then I let her rest for a minute and went to fire her up again. Turned over a few times then the lights went out!! NO POWER!!!<In the car anywhere. stepped out for a minute scratchin my head. I heard a tick down toward the starter jumped back in and started to turn it over then again NO POWER!!! At this point I am trully puzzled at all of the above. I still have no power. I need some input advice and so on. Please Help. I have gone broke on makin her run busted knuckles and bled for it lost sleep and on and on. All I wanna do is drive my Supra again after five years. This is a major drag.

I am assuming you mean, no power as in the starter wont turn. Not.. no power.. nothing works.. radio/lights/horn.. nada. I have had 2 vehicles fail on me the same way. One was due to dead starter, the other was dry battery. Check fuses/battery first as they are the simplest (keeping in mind that no maintenance batteries do dry up...but I doubt thats your problem.). Other than that... I cant suggest anything helpful cause im not a mechanic and have only owned a Supra for less than a week. Dont know how much damage you can do running a motor with improper timing. Good luck, thouh!

Thanx
Gotta say thanx for the help. I was thinkn it had something to do with the security system it wasnt. I jacked her and crawled around underneath and foun my engine ground loose. SIMPLE, and STUPID!! Not only that but after all the head work was done the ground tightened up I turned her over struggled to fire then fired then smoke like I was burnin down the barn. Shoulda seen it I wish I woulda had a video camera Id have posted it on youtube as what not do!! Had my distributor 180 out and and smoked out the neihbors !!! Had to stop scratch my head and think before I realized my mistake of not markn the distributor five years ago. Flipped the rotor and voila. Fired right up burned off the excess fuel no smoke and sounded great other than the exhaust is off from the back of the passenger seat back to the end. THNX again though much help.
