Yeah I only buy stuff usually like air filters cheap, vacuum hoses, stuff that matters but can be cheap some times on Ebay. For stuff that will take a lot of time to replace, I like the quality stuff. Cam Gears, Starters, Clutches, major stuff I buy from good dealers like NAPA. I have some others places you guys might want to check out Welcome to Driftmotion! they have used parts, New high performance and are for just Toyota. I have not bought yet if any of you have please tell me how it went. I would not mind buying from them if they are reputable, and honest with sells.

Run 93 octane max and use that extra cash to save for high quality parts....
110 doesnt make horsepower and only protects you from predetonation..... Isnt necessary untill about 15psi + w/ a turbo

I have been hunting down parts for my MKIII for about a month now, and am listing parts as i go (you can see the link in my sig). I have used ebay to do a comparison, but quite frankly dont feel safe buying from the stores there. You have no idea on some of them what presence they have in real life. Having said all that, I have found that there the web stores are relatively "like-priced" for parts and almost all are cheaper than Toyota. The parts though all are "upgrades" from stock, so I am looking for that, and probably because of the car's age, there are more upgrade parts than factory ones. Anything hidden or not vital to performance, though, I will do with factory parts (and eat the extra cost). None of us want to throw away money, but a lot of us love our cars enough to splurge occassionally. In the end... your typical $2,000 - $4,000 Supra can outperform the $20,000+ cars and I just like the MKIII better Spend 20,000 on your Supra than pitch it against a new car. (if your still street legal.. lol) Just dont skimp on a part thats 20.00 cheaper if its gonna cost you 1000.00 later on... (which is what I think the original response was intended to say) just to continue on the Octane... we have 91 octane premium in Alberta (Canada) but i found a place that has 94 Octane... right at the base of a 7km climb up a mountain.
