I'm sorry if I am posting up too many topics about my Supra's engine problem.
I haven't mention some of the stuff that I haven't posted on here yet. Let me know what you guys think the problem is. I'll post up all my probelms on this topic so you guys won't be able to go back and forth. 1.)My intercooler pipe has some oils inside it. My gasket, I think the 6th hole where you put the spark plugs inside has some oils in there too. 2.)I don't know if I have a head gasket blown up again or what. They already replace that gasket like at 120 something k miles. It now has 173,000 k miles on it. But I don't see no smokes. 3.) Check engine light coming on. I need to know what kind of wire to put in the "diagnose" system to check it myself so I won't lose money. Here's what supragurl said, "jumper with a piece of wire t & e1 in diag box in the engine bay, jump in car, turn key to ign and count the codes from engine check light". Well, what kind of jumper wire? t &e1? Please, I need more details. Sorry, I'm kind of confused with that. 4.) When I tried to accelerate my car, I can smell something really stinking. Like when the turbo kicks it, the car stinks. I don't know if it's burning oils or whatever. Or the engine is too old it needs to upgrades. Please, for the last time, anyone, help me out. I'm running out of ideas, and if I give up, I might just fix some little peice of the car and sell it. I'm having a lot of headake with my Supra. Even though, I'm a freak on Supras and I don't want to ever sell the car, I might have too, if I cannot find a way to fix those stuff. Planning to sell it for $3,500 or $4,000 if I fixed it up. But first things first, I want some help and I need to fix it first. If after when I'm done fixing it, I might not want to sell it...hehehe... |

i mean a piece of wire
just stick a piece of wire into t1 and e1 so they are joined then turn the key to ignition and your check engine light will flash oil in the intercooler pipes is not a bad thing... it's just the way the turbo engines work... if it is excessive like pools and pools of oil then you may have a problem but if it's just a little bit here and there i wouldn't worry you could add a catch can if you like so oil doesn't go into your intercooler any more is there any oil on the ground under your car? does your engine leak oil around the valve covers? the oil in the spark plug hole will be from your valve covers leaking... order from Jay Marks Toyota on supramania.com and get some new gaskets and replace yours it could be thats where the oil is burning check your oil level... always make sure it is topped up or very very costly repairs are needed do a diagnostic and tell us what you get
