Default Spark Plugs (1G-GE vs 7M-GE)

I've got a 1990 MK3 Supra with the 1G-GE engine. I've been trying to find the best spark plugs I can for it on NGK or Champion's website, alongwith other manufacturers, and they all seem to only list the 7M-GE and 7M-GTE engines.

Does anyone know for certain that the 7M-GE would take the same spark plugs as the 1G-GE?

Haven't changed spark plugs in over 50,000kms, hoping to see a change in fuel consumption

Where did you find that one? I goggled it, and it is a 2.0L I6 engine used with less compression and power than the 7M-GE. Wikipedia did say some Supras used it. Wow. I doubt the 7M-GE plugs would work. The heat ranges must be different.

I located a Toyota spark plug chart, and the 1G-GE engine uses the same BPR6EY-11 plugs the 1988-1992 Corolla with the 1.3L 2E engine uses. Here's the chart.http://monroesamara.ru/files/europe.pdf

The chart IS NGKs. The order number is in the final column. That should help a great deal.
