I found this wrecked 99' Honda Civic DX across from main st. from my house, and I told my friend about it. Well, his co-worker Pablo bought the car wrecked with 65,000 miles on it for $2200. He is having it repaired by his mechanic friends. And he is going to sell it with a new paint-job, rims, perfect engine, etc. for $7000. Problem is, it's a DX which means it has basically no luxury options. I was wondering if I should buy it from him? I want a car that will last a while, and I know the Honda WILL. I also want a quick speedy little piecer. Right now I own a 94' Ford Probe that I had to re-build.
And the Civic has a Clear title, they never reported it......... Tell me what you guys think Thanks Burzum - Det Som Engang Var

For $7000 you can get a Supra turbo Mk3 that pushes 400+ whp. It will include things like climate control, power seats, power windows, and probably targa top.

7K is way to much for a civic dx, especially one thats been wrecked and rebuilt, if it had a bunch of engine modifications im sure it would be worth it, but from what i hear it isnt, i would say 4-45K would be about right for a 99, see if you can knock it down a couple grand
