Well i got a 88 supra today and it has a blown engine. So i'm wondering what i should do.
Would you recomend a swaping an engine from another car or just fixing the dime size hole in the block? Thanks any sugestions is greatly appericated. this is a new world to me i'm a prelude owner so these engines are a bit different than the honda ones. |

i think you're dreaming .
i'd plan to replace the engine . do you really want to drive around with silly putty plugging a hole in the block ? and what caused the hole to begin with ? you're gonna have to pull the engine anyway

yeps 7mge engines are fairly cheap... or you could go the 7mgte swap way turbos are more fun heh
and i wouldn't ever think of welding a block if it got a hole it in replace the engine what are the plans for the car? daily driver and racer? or just daily driver?

I'm planing on making this a fast car not a daily driver or just fix her up and then sell for a profit. It all depends.
Is there anything that i would have to do to put a 7mgte engine in the n/a car? |
