Rebuilt: Does not exceed 2800 rpm???
I have a freshly rebuilt engine with a lot of aftermarket products. I can not get the motor to rev past approximently 2800 rpm. I have no clue why, but I thnk its some sort of fuel issue. The car will die immediatly if pinned and it smells a little fuemy, however it runs smooth at idle. It also has not had a tune yet but I am not sure if this is why it won't rev up; I don't want to waste my money at the tune shop if it is not a tunning issue.

I actually figured the problem out. The Apexi wire diagram was wrong and the Karmen sensor needed a software update because they had some issues with it missreading or something. I have about 10k into the car so far and I rebuilt it becasue the rod bearings and turbo were bad.
