Well if you have read alway beware of head gasket thats the biggest problem with them...so if a Supra is acting Sluggish, not cooling properly, oil in coolant, running water sound in dash, etc...if you intend on replacing it replace it with HKS Metal Head gasket and ARP Head bolts torqued to about 80 lbs...thats the biggie but in my opinion if your looking at older ones (MKIIIs) they have quite high upkeep....newer ones (MKIVs) i don't know anything about....
Read the pinned posts they will always be common things with Supras....Or wait till Suprra Girl, Monkihead, King Diamond, the fallen, etc...they can probably all elaborate more

yep good suggestions above
2 more to add tho 1. please look at your keyboard, in the middle area but to the far left you will find the CAPS LOCK key, please keep this off when posting as it is considered yelling 2. check all the above, make sure oil isn't a milky colour, overheating, leaks etc also check the oil level and the colour of the oil... is it really black or is it really clean or midway also check in the boot/trunk for rust... it's quite common in toyotas gl and hopefully you will soon be a supra owner.. .the above is mainly for mk3's... but i guess it can't hurt on a mk4

I'm planning to get an MK4 in the future.
One more thing about the trouble the Supra can get you into is "Speedy Tickets". lol Other than that I would take this car over most American Sports car. Maybe over all of them if I were to have the money to modify and upgrade. Car looks yummy, if when I'm hungry I look at it, I'm full. LOL  |
