Blower Motor Dead - 1985 Supra
I'm a new member - just joined - honestly didn't know this site existed. I'd rather be helping someone than asking a question, but that's life...
I have a 1985 Supra with 145K miles on it... although I'm still handy with auto's at 67 I'm not as flexible as I once was.... so with that in mind I have the following problem which I hope someone can help me with... I came out of work today turned the key on & no blower - no blower on any speed setting... nothing I checked the 30 A CB inside the drivers kick panel, & the relay for the heater on the pass kick panel. Since I don't have any fan speed I assume it's not the ballast resistor. Now the million dollar question - where is the blower motor situated?? I'm not even sure I know where the ballast resistor is - if I had to replace it. How tough is the blower motor to replace - if I can find it - I'll try 12v across it to see if it spins over... thanks again for any help..... Barry |
