MKII 5MGE - 6MGE swap
 

I have a 3.0L (6MGE?) that came out of a 1986 Supra,
And I have a 1982 Supra with a blown 5MGE.
The 3.0Lwas hooked to an automatic. My 1982 has a 5-speed.
I plan on using my 5-speed and computer.
DOI WANT TO SWAP ALL EXTERNAL PARTS FROM MY BLOWN 2.8L, SO EVERYTHING CONNECTS EASILY?
(Basically just use the 3.0L longblock)?

dude i have a 85 celica supra with 5mge rodknock and i am about to get a 6m ge cause it 3.0 and im in same position as you i also wonder if you got to change the computer cause of a different motor
