Wink Question on buying a supra.

Whats Up, New To This Forum.

Anyways Ive came across a 90 supra 7mgte satting in a yard. So I asked the guy about the car and he offered to sell it for $600 and I got him down to $400. He said that the car got hot on him and he parked it, so it probably needs a head gasket but not sure.

Well here comes the sucky part about it. We looked for his title and after 30 mins we found it and i noticed it wasnt even in his name and he said he got it at a action about a year ago. but the guy that sold to him signed the back part of it and put the date of the day it was sold. nov 06. He probably knew that.

He also lost the key but i can get one made at a dealership or whatever. But I say that the car has been turned in as junk for sure after 3 years. So Im getting it checked out and if it was, Can u get a another title made for the car or what?

I havent gave up on the car just yet bc its in good shape and u also dont see no mk3 or mk4 supras around here much. Ive seen one mk4 supra and thats it.

thanks for ya time!

Thumbs up $$$$$

So you have money to invest right away.... is this a project your going to stick with.. And best of all do you know how to work on it, tools, place to do it ect... if all the answers are yes id say you found a deal. Good Luck to you. My 95 has been quite the project, the first day I got it. Things went bad. I dropped 5 grand in the first week... But I then drove it across the country and back! Plus once you get a car you dunno how it was treated so you have to do a drastic over haul (tune-up)... overall make it a fun experience, or hobby. "The mans car reflects his personality" So build a machine that suits you.
