Engine bay gets really hot, why?
lately my supra has been heating up real bad from the engine bay, that most of the time, i can feel the heat sneaking in through the vents and where my legs are, but the temperture guage is displayed at normal temperture. i've checked all the pipes and hoses and everything looks good. would anyone know what might be causing this.

If like me you have a right-hand drive it’s more of a problem, due to fact the driver’s position is directly behind the exhaust side of the engine. It doesn’t help with the exhaust pipe running so near to the foot well. Stuck in a traffic jam on hot day and the bottom of your feet become very hot. I did fit some bonnet (hood in the US) vents on one of my previous owned supras that seemed to help; the problem was most of the neighbourhood cats would sleep on my hood at night.
