oil line troubles

i am in the process of installing a new head gasket on my 7mgte, and im hitting a snag with tightening the oil feed line from the turbo to the block. i just cannot get the screw to start threading, not stripped or anything. i just cannot keep the back crush washer on and get the screw to set.

You really could do with two pairs of hands, one jiggling the turbo around a little bit and one locating the banjo bolt. The problem is the pipe is so ridged which makes it awkward to line up with the hole in the block. I tried a small amount of super glue on the washer but had a good result with a very thin sticky sealant to hold the washer in place. Not sure if you can get this in the US. Link It’s also ideal for leaking cam covers. Be careful not to squeeze the tube too hard, its has the consistency of maple syrup. Resistant to water and oil, but no good for fuel lines.
