Engine swaps. Need Help!
I have purchased two MK3 Supra's. One currently is a running 7M-GTE but is totaled, it is a 1990. The other one has fine shell, but the 7M-GE is blown, it is an 1989. How can I swap the 7M-GTE into the MK3 with the blown 7M-GE? What parts will I need to get and will it work?

man i really dont want to be an a$$ to you or for anyone to be more of one.... but use the darn search button. this has been covered a million times squared... a simple search at the top or even in google will yield many results for the info needed. and if your too lazy to read through them then you really should not be doing a swap.

there's are some stickies at the top of the site that explain the rules and how to use the site. just read through them. i cant stress to you enough that you really shouldnt be doing a swap if your unwilling to research and read. especially with some misinformation around everywhere and trust me... the swap is no daunting task. read around a little bit and if you really cant find the answer to your questions please feel free to ask. i dont want you to think im being mean but it's aggravating when people ask the same questions over and over and when i search i pull up many threads as well as do not fallow the posted forum rules.

Most threads I find have no responses to them, and most of them don't answer what I need.

well then i understand your not looking however i'll help you.
1st. the engines are completely the same besides the block on the 7mgte has piston squirters. obviously the ecu and harness as well as others.. 2nd. the flywheel for the gte is different than the ge. 3rd. i can tell your lying about searching because if you put 'toyota supra na to turbo conversion' in google you will get this site at the top... http://www.4cefed.com/ i know your anxious to get the car running but you need to learn to do your research or your swap and car owning experience is going to be hell. plus no one like doing research for people unpaid good luck on the swap let us know how it goes. p.s. the reason you cant find any responses on most threads are because like you, did not do their research because this stuff is posted everywhere. another forum you may research on that has so much info is supramania.com. and for any tech related issues please refer to http://www.cygnusx1.net/Supra/Librar...3/default.aspx this is your bible and it should be used when you run into an issue. Ha, thanks a lot man. I'm not a fan of forums. A buddy said join a forum you will learn lots. SO I picked this one and asked for help. Apparently I searched every thread or something... idk. But I ended up calling someone and they told me everything I didn't know. So everything should go well. Once again thanks. I will attempt the search thing again haha
