Hmmm, jumping off topic, I'm just wondering. Have any of you guys raced those Toyota Scion cars yet? The one that looks like a box. Funny and weird looking but they look kind of nice, I had to admit.
I raced one long ago, it didn't beat me but I can tell you this, it was kind of a challenge going up agianst that car in some curving roads. One things for sure, those Scions are QUICK as hell. It could only go up to 110 MPH, but still pretty fast for a little box car (ha ha ha). The guy was one of those rice eater guy. Pretty fast and quick, but still no match for the Supra! :lol: Now my next project, I'll try to see if any Corvettes out there will challenge me, or if I'm in a mood, I'll challenge them to a match. Just want to know how badly can they burn me <_< Good luck to me! lol |

Ahhh, you wanna get burned, find an RX-7 running around, last body style... Will show you his brakelights faster than you think. Bah, what am I saying, I didn't lose by much...more boost here I come (once I break in my new clutch :angry: )

I've played tag with a few RX-7's and i've won some and lost some....generally i torch them right of the line, but once they hit third its like "oh shit" or at least thats how it was before i got sick of losing...the i got new exhaust....intake...blah blah etc.... and my and I (He is a mechanic) put it on and she went from purring like a kitty to ROARING....I really am not that great with car i just have good reasources and i seem to have a knack for anything thats require great reactions and confidence...Thats all racing takes once you have the car to race...Good reaction time, be decisive, and trust yourself...

Since the RX'7's can beat the Supras, are they stock or are you guys talking about moded RX'7's?
I thought a Supra was suppose to be faster? |

No, stock. Stock RX-7's the last bodystyle that is, came stock as a TT. With something that revs that high, it's all top end scream, you can beat em on a launch, and probably up until 3rd gear, after that he's gonna start pulling on you HARD. We have the torque, they have the horsepower.
Get em on an 1/8 mile and you'll likely win, 1/4 mile, he might pass you, a 60mph punch, you'll get em at first, but he's gonna wind up and pull on you. |

I'm bringing in my MKIV. :P At least I get what your saying. Not the older version of RX'7 but the last one comin out. If I mod mine up, I'll have a chance. But my car is an auto. <_< So hard finding a manule, oh well, I think I'll save up money and build my car up. First, I'll paint my car black, fix the rusted parts, get new wheels (black) and tires and get bodykit. After that, I'll probably get new engine or NEVER. Than, I'll mod it up a little. Next, hear I come RX'7! lol |
