1st gear jumping out, 4th gear crunching, how do I fix it without changing gearbox

What do you mean that it comes in 2 shifter points. I have never actually replaced a gear box. If I don't have the tools is it cheaper to have a workshop do it for me. How much roughly would it cost? Would it be cheaper if I source my own gearbox?
