82 corolla 1jz?
Hi i want to drop a 1jz-gte motor into my 82 corolla. Was wondering if it would fit and if anyone knew sum1 with a similar setup.

I don't think there is anywhere near enough room. Looking a pics the stock 4cyl is pretty snug. If you moved the radiator forward of the support member you may be able to shoe-horn the engine in, but I don't know where you're going to fit a decent sized intercooler... I suppose you could run a hot air setup, but I don't recommend it.
I would look into swapping in a built 3S-GTE. BTW - the 1JZ was one of the engines used in the MKIII, not the MKIV... MKIV only had 2JZ. EDIT: I'm going to move this to 'General Discussions'.
