I recently found a 1991 Supra T-Top with 107,000 miles on it it is bone stock with the original automatic stock trans. The guy is asking 3,000 for it it is clean with no dents or rust. is this worth it? i dont know that much about supras are they hard to work on? what are the mods i should do first when i get this? also what do these run with automatics in them when stock?

the price is alright...see if this person can sell it for like 2700 or somtin...but 3g's is a decent price...not great but not bad, they arent really hard to work on...theres just hte usual maintenance especially older cars like these..things tend to break easier, the first mod i recommend would be to let the engine breathe easier meaning buy an intake, exhaust and headers...not really in that order, but those are the three main bolt ons that get this process going...and from there you can basically do anything else..almost, not sure what the autos run...i have a 5spd so its a little quicker...might have to ask someone else about that

N/A or turbo? Turbo, yes definately. It's a 91, so it's a bit newer than most of them out there, fairly low mileage... I paid more and I think my car was well worth it...

Hmmm... it's up to you, some people love their autos, some people can't live with one. You could always do a 5-speed conversion if you really wanted to down the road. Minor dent could be popped out. Check the targa top for leaks, under the spare tire for rust, and look under tha car and see if it's rusty underneath. Hell, my spare tire holddown is rusted off, no biggy, but the leaking targa top sucks in the rain...

blown or soon to blow head gasket is your biggest worry .

i 'd say plan on it .

you prolly won't torque the head bolts asap, if you buy and you'll start having loads of fun boost and tooling around and you'll blow the gasket
so plan on a head gasket .

You don't HAVE to pull the motor, just the head, but it all depends on if you want to go down the road of super boost. If you want to go for high boost, you'll have to have the block and head machined, lapping it afterwards is a good idea too, then us a metal head gasket, ARP head studs, and torque it down to 72ft/lbs. In that case, you'll have to pull the engine to get the block machined. If you want to push a bit more boost, you can just put a stock HG in it, torque it down to 72, and run with it, and that wouldn't take pulling the engine. It's a lot of work, more tedious than anything IMHO (like rebuilding a carb, it's not HARD, just REALLY annoying)
