Guess we'll be stuck with our MKIII and MKIV for now. All I want though is for my Supra to look newer, that way I won't want to buy another new car.

I beg to differ, the MR2 went away for a few years and came back (not nearly as good, but still came back). They produced a special commemorative MKIV called the 3000GT to commemorate the 2000GT. The Supra is a model that I believe in the future a Toyota exec could very easily decide to bring back. Whether or not they actually will we may never know...but I think if there was any Toyota to ever be brought back with the same namesake...it would have to be the Supra. I agree, it would not be an inline 6...probably be a Turbo or Twin Turbo V6 (ala R35 Skyline) or a V8 version. Toyota is one of the largest and most successful manufacturers in the world, they don't HAVE to do anything...they are perfectly successful building and selling Trucks, SUV's, Sedans, and Hybrid vehicles.
