Can someone help break down the names on the exhaust parts? The 90 degree pipe from the turbo is called the elbow. Then I am assuming it connects to the downpipe, and then that connects to the test pipe?
Thanks! Alex |

turbo / elbow/ downpipe / cat / exhaust system or catback
test pipe replaces cat and makes the car illegal or for off-road use

the test pipe only replaces the second cat there is one made into the down pipe so you can still keep it street legal depending on where you live and who you know

only if you want to polute the environment...and get tickets for not running cats...ect
you can get a metal matrix cat (though they aren't cheap), but you'll stay legal and only lose like 5 hp at the wheels with a good one... The downpipe and the pre-cat are the huge bottleneck, and where you can see a lot of gain. |
