Help-quick question from new supra owner
Hey, sorry if this has been asked before, did a quick search for lsd and got no results. Ive recently purchased a mk3 supra twin turbo 1ggteu (i think) and was just wondering if they came with LSD or not. All help appreciated

could be wrong about the engine code, thats just what a mate said. its the 2L twin turbo...
1ggteu is a dohc 16 valve inline 6 1988cc... checked it out here http://www.geocities.com/MotorCity/P...neEngines.html and it seemed to fit the description... will know for sure this saturday when i pick it up EDIT-found out yesterday, the engine code is indeed 1ggteu, model number is ga70 Last edited by HELBND; 09-14-2005 at 10:06 PM. |

well i think thats the engine code for an mk2...since u said in ur previous post its an mk3...it would either be a 7mgte or a 7mge depending on if it is turbo or not and from my understanding it was 3L not 2...

As far as I know, all turbo models came standard with a LSD.

the 1ggte lives in JDM Land
generally teh way it is.... if it has a 3 or a 5 at the end e.g g255 it's an lsd if it's g254 then it's non lsd it should say under transaxle code
