weird slurping noise?!?
 

anyone know of this or had it happen to them?

after switching off - n/a 1987, 7mge - i hear a loud slurping noise coming from somewhere between the firewall and the engine, roundabout the downpipe area but closer to where can't see... I just had the headers and exhaust done, but these seem ok, as this only started after I adjusted the mixture (or this is when I noticed it). It sounds like someone sucking a straw with nothing left in a glass and lasts around 10 seconds?

Possible air in the heater core. Possible BHG. Search threads for "gurgling sounds", and head gasket questions. All the answers are in those threads, ie: how to get rid of air in the core, how to test for BHG, etc.
