didn't see this in the FAQ....
I (like many) drool a gallon or two everytime I see a 93-98 Supra. Because its possible to "steal" a unit with substantial mileage (over 120K), me thinks that I'm gonna be itchin to swap/rebuild the motor before too long to get that brand new kick under the hood again. Is that anywhere close to accurate for the average unit? If not, are the motors available from Japan w/<50K miles and how does the $$ compare? Apples to apples, stock for jap stock on swap, and close to stock spec w/minimal changes on rebuild. I read a comment on groups.google.com that rebuilds are hell because of the twin cams...Lookin for the other side of the coin. Thanks in advance, KJ (Finally leaving Honda!!!!!!) -2000 Accord EX Coupe totalled by a drunk driver last night, no injuries & the car was for sale ![]() |
