I just bought an 88' supra turbo, manual transmission and BONE STOCK EVERYTHING! I want to know if you boost the turbo to 10 or 12 psi, would it kill my engine? Also, would I need to buy a bigger intercooler, get an intake and upgrade my exhaust? If not, what other parts should I buy? I tested out my turbo and it boosted around 6-7 psi. Is that good? Is that how it's supposed to be boosting?

Thanks! I was scared that if I was to buy a boost control and set it to boost around 10-12 psi, it might blow my engine. (Everything is stock) How do you know so much about this car? I wanna learn more!

you should be fine on 10psi.. you are probably better to keep it at 10psi so on cold nights etc you can still boost and not hit fuel cut
