Help! Need Radio Expert

I have a 1989 Supra with a factory security system. I did not know about this feature and when I cleaned the battery cables my radio took a hike. It locked me out and now says "SEC". Rareusername gave me a manual, which was very helpful, thank you, but my radio is different. The Toyota dealer said he could fix it but it was very pricey. If it can be done at the dealer, then I assume it can be done by me, if I had the right info. The manual I looked at showed how to input the code but it was different from mine. It said to hit 1 and rew/ff but my rewind and fast forward buttons are separate. Like Rareusername said, I would at least like to try "000", as that would be the lazy mans way to do it, but I can not even get that far. Can anybody out there spare me from being robbed by the Toyota dealer? I would really appreciate it.
