Toyota Chaser 2jZGTTE

Is the 1997 Toyota Chaser 2jZGTTE automatic he same engine and trans as the

2jzgte 93-98 supras did they put the same stuff in both cars

the engines look different

to my knowledge, the chaser did not have a 2jz...the chaser had a 1jzgte, maybe thats why the motors look different...the 2jz was placed in teh mk4 supra, the lexus is300, and the lexus sc300, the 1jz was placed in the mk3 supra in japan, and the toyota chaser...
